Set against the backdrop of lush and exotic Rio during Camival, this movie dives into the sea of eroticism. Wheeler (Mickey Rourke) is a very rich, very tough man who delights in playing mind- games. Emily (Carre Otis) is his latest victim. Fresh from the midwest, she is no match for Wheeler's introduction to the world of lust. But, soon Emily turns the table and begins to intrigue Wheeler as no other woman has. This is a slow, steamy sensual movie. Definitely not a family movie. A major fault is the sound. Every time music would play, I felt like the band was right in my living-room. Keep your finger on the volume button with this one. I give ita 7. Andrew Dice Clay in The Diceman Cometh "R" Some of you may be familiar with this so-called comedian and some may not. Both he and this concert tape are exactly the same: rude, crude, and obscene. Nuff said. The Ontario Government will once again honour excep- tional seniors with an Ontario Senior Achievement Award, said Elaine Ziemba, Minister of Citizenship, with responsi- bility for seniors citizens. To be presented during Senior Citizens' Month in June, the Ontario Senior Achievement Award recog- nizes and honours outstanding seniors who, after age 65, have made significant contri- butions to their communities. "This is one of the ways that the Government of Ontario shows its apprecia- tion to seniors who continue to devote their time, talent and wisdom to enriching the lives of others," Ziemba said. Nominees of the awards must be 65 years of age or older, a resident of Ontario, and have made significant contributions in one or more of the following programs: Arts/literature, community Opportunity to honor exceptional seniors service, education, environ- ment/science, fitness/recre- ation/sports, humanitarian activities, preservation of his- tory, volunteerism or any other category. The public, as well as com- munity and seniors' organiza- tions, may nominate individu- als in their areas. An impartial selection committee will review all nominations and select the 1991 award recipients. "I hope that individuals will take the time today to nominate a senior in their community," Ziemba said, "Nominating a senior for an Award is one way we can show our appreciation to] . those who have made a differ. ence."
