She said the Horticultural Society welcomes new members gladly, and added that the number of active mem- bers could be increased. Among the services being pro- vided next year, Taina said that a soil testing device will be put into service. By testing the acidity of the soil, a homeowner can deter- mine what plants and vegetables have the best chancerat sprouting. With a strong history and a few dedicated volunteers, the future of the Terrace Bay Horticultural Society looks rosy.
