By Helene Ballard Well, we sure can't complain about the weather these days, it sure has been nice. We have had one of our events for Senior Citizens' Month. On Tuesday, June 16, we had a wine and cheese party hosted by the staff here at Birchwood. We were happy to see some of the Seniors from town- it was very enjoyable, and on behalf of the residents, I would like to thank everyone on the staff for giving us this party. We are looking for- ward to other events here at the home, Our Activities' Director, with the help of staff members, are busy getting the float ready for the Canada Day Parade. We are all hoping we get a prize for it- a lot of time and work went into this project and we are anxious for the big day. PAUL PLUTA FOR THOSE WHO CARE TO REMEMBER. Another of our events which should be fun is the Baby Pageant on the 29th. It's always nice to see the "wee folk", Many of us have grandchildren which we do not see very often so we will enjoy seeing the babies. I was out riding around town" yesterday and I noticed how nice and clean the yards are- everyone Seems to take such an interest in keeping their yards looking so nice. Now if we can get everyone In Memory of the late VINCENZO DELEO A Loving Husband and Father Time has gone by We know this is true, Since fate that day Called forth for you. You went with such joy, Oh, so happy were you, But now it is we Who are left to mourn you. We honour your memory, Only asking of this-- May the Lord grant you Serenity, Peace and Happiness. So in tears of silence, We all stand still Having to accept Thy Lord God's Will. Sadly missed by the family.
