Several events have been "planned for this and I am happy to say Birchwood Terrace also has a few events for the Seniors, so I would like at this time to invite all:seniors from Terrace Bay , Schreiber, Rossport and Marathon, as well as any other towns around us, to come and visit and have a good time. Our residents come from many towns in this part of Ontario and I am sure they would enjoy to see some-of their old neighbours and friends. | Here is a list of activities at Birchwood, so mark them down so you won't forget: June 16- Cheese and Wine Party June 24- Strawberry Tea June 30- B-B-Q and fun day, and of course, the Big Parade on June 27. So to all these events, we invite you to come and help make Senior Citizens' Month a real fun time. Birchwood Seniors as usual entered the Fun Run and won a trophy for having the most people in a given group (see picture this issue). Stewart Anderson , for the sec- ond year in a row, won for the oldest walker- 80 years-old. The trophies were presented at the rec centre with Thelma Christenson accepting Birchwood and Stewart for his own trophy. We are all happy to be able to take part in this yearly event.
