For the third consecutive year, Schreiber had the highest percentage of its population (40) participate in the annual North Shore Directors' Fun Run. As you can see above it was a large procession that followed the fire truck through the streets -of town on May 25. This plan is "a set of plann- ing policies, goals and objectives which reflects the present and future cultural and _ recreational program, facility and open space needs ofa community." (Photo by Ken Lusk). | Schreiber Public School |receives new playground The Township of Schreiber and the Lake Superior Board of Educa- tion were pleased to co-operate to install new playground equipment at the Schreiber Public School. The town had originally plann- ed to install the equipment at Holy Angels Separate School. However, due to planned renovations at that school, a site could not be deter- rr 14 A playground will receive new equip- ment as soon as renovations have been completed. The funding for the new equip- ment came from both the Township of Schreiber and the Lake Superior Board of Education as well as a matching grant from Wintario. _ Paris s Playground Equipment of The unit is the latest in design and safety.
