We extend our thanks to Father Campbell; the Terrace Bay Police, for directing the flow of traffic; fami- ly and friends who have braved the weather and all the merchants; com- panies, organizations and associations who placed wreaths at the Cenotaph. Later in the day, the Legion hosted a dinner and dance which was ex- tremely well-attended. It was nice to see so many Terrace Bay veterans and their wives, fellow members and friends enjoying the delicious dinner catered by Leon Theriault and served by our local Ringettes. Thank-you for a job well- done. As usual, "The Diplomats" did a fantastic job in keeping the crowd on the dance floor. Some of us hadn't danced in a long time and we felt it the next day! Our guest speaker, par excellence, was Mr. Bill Love. Bill proved that you don't have to be a veteran to understand the meaning and tradition of Remembrance Day. Much to his amazement, and the . delight of the crowd, he received a standing ovation for his heart- warming speech. We also thank Bill for taking time to attend Memorial Services put on by the schools and sharing his knowledge with our children. Once again, thank-you to everyone who participated. Upcoming Events Dec. 13: Kids' Christmas Party - Dec. 14: General Meeting at 8 p.m. This meeting will concentrate on electing an executive for 1987. Please come out and participate.
