Scarborough, Ontario ents have already express- ed an interest in forming a club to bring children's live performances to Schreiber. The children of our co- mmunity are missing out on a fantastic learning ex- perience, the Rec Depart- ment release pointed out. If the club is to be formed in time to bring performers in for the winter months next year, plans must begin no later than September 20. If you are interested in assisting in anyway or know of anyone who would be interested in help- ing, please contact Pat Davis at 824-2718 or leave your name at the Recreat- ion Office in Schreiber at 824-2317. The club will not start meeting until the children are back in school this fall, so it will not interfere with any summer plans. The Swimming lessons will commence on July 7 with two sessions running from that date to July 25, and the second from July 28 to August 15. Registration is now being accepted at the Recreation Office, and the deadline for the first ses- sion is June 25. A late reg- istration fee will be charg- ed for late registrants. Summer Fun Programs The 1986 Tot Lot and Youth Drop-In Programs will be held in the High Shcool gymnasium for the month of July and then move back to the arena for the month of August. The program will again be varied and imaginative with a number of special events being planned. Chrissy McLellan and Dawn Spencer will be the leaders of this exciting pro- gram.
