This Friday, Satur- day and Sunday at the Nipigon Arena there will be a fantastic display of products and exhibits. Once again the Land of Nipigon Chamber of Com- merce is sponsoring the show and this year will see more than 5,000 people attend. Boats, motors, campers, trailers, motorhomes, trucks, ATV's, motor- cycles, snowmachines, hot by Winnie Campbell The winners of the Chimo Home Bingo were Dora Weaver and Jim Figliomeni. Another one will start in May. Our deepest sympathies to the Bourke Family on the passing of Larry Bourke. Many relations and friends attended. The funeral service was with Father Campbell from Ter- tubs, lawn and garden pro- ducts, camping gear, charter boats, houseboat rentals, fishing tackle, marine accessories, the list goes on. In addition, many groups and organizations will be on hand to sell tickets on boats, motors, canoes, etc. Public infor- mation displays by the O.P.P., M.N.R., Child Find and others will also add to the show. This year the Elks Sport- smans Club is sponsoring race Bay and Father Groulx officiating. Also represented were the Knights of Columbus. Mrs. Charlie Pearson has returned from visiting relatives in St. Thomas. Get well to Mrs. Cash, Mona Holmes, Della Moore and Dave Nesbitt in hospital. Visiting Mrs. Esther Birch from Canmore is her a giant Steel Head Derby and are offering thousands of dollars worth of prizes, including a four day vaca- tion on a 36 ft. Bob and his film crew will be out on the water doing filming for an upcoming episode of the Real Fishing Show and he's already challenged CKPR's Ray Dee to a match on who will catch the Bigger Rainbow. Ray will also be on hand all three days sending back live reports to Thunder Bay. The times for this years show are Friday, noon to 9 pm, Sat 9 am to 11 pm and Sun. 10 am to 6 pm.
