The club members were responsible for the construction of the box, the building to shelter it, and the security fence to protect it. The Aurora Lake Trout eggs, which are yellow in colour came from the Dorion Fish Hatchery. The M.N.R. was responsible for the transportation of the 40,000 eggs. On Thursday 14th the club members had to clean and sort rocks for the placement of the eggs. The ' eggs are between several layers of round edged rocks and placed in heavy plastic crates before being placed into the hatchery. From this point until the eggs hatch in January they will be checked daily and the temperature recorded by club members.
