Sewing Course Classes commenced Tuesday, October 23rd under the instruction of Nella Commisso. Hospital Auxiliary Meeting | The Auxiliary to the McCausland Hospital held its regular meeting Monday evening Oct. 1Sth in the hospital in Terrace Bay. Guest speaker was Mrs. Pearl Flemming of Thunder Bay, President of Region 12A of the Ontario Hospital Auxi- liary Association. The annual member- ship drive will take place the first week in Novem- ber and canvassers will be calling door-to-door. Annual memberships are again $2.00 and a one-time membership will be available at $25. This is a fund raising effort for the auxiliary and all money raised is used in the hospital for the betterment of pa- tient care. The auxiliary would like to thank all those who worked at or sup- ported our Bingo. The next regular meeting will be Nov. 19th at the high school Schreiber. All members are invited to attend. Terrace Bay Youth Bowling League There has been a fair amount of interest in this program. There is a max- imum number of par- ticipants (24) 'that will be allowed to participate therefore please register early to avoid disappoint- ment. Call the office today for more details. Arena: Located elsewhere in this paper is a copy of the weekly arena schedule. Please clip and save. Public skating times are highlighted for your conve- nience. To all user groups and their participants due to the increased hours of use we request your assistance in leaving the ice at the schedule completion. Dressing Rooms have also been assigned for your convenience. Squash and Racquetball Tournament The Tournament has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date due to poor registration. Skating Attendants: We are looking for two skating attendants to work Public Skating evenings and weekend session. Please drop by the office if interested. North Shore Recreation Directors' Jamboree: The response is fan- tastic. It looks like one hun- dred girls will travel to Terrace Bay to participate. Ringette Sp IE We need your help. Girls need to be billeted Friday, November 23rd and Satur- day, November 24th. If in- . terested, please call Billeting Convenor Carolyn Waldenburger or Patti Moon. Ladies Body Building Course Eleanor Depaola has agreed to offer a Ladies Body Building Course for females 15 years of age or over to include 4 day work out, proper diet, proper lif- ting techniques. This course will be held on Mondays, - Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from 4-5 p.m. and another one on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from 7-8 p.m. if registration is sufficient. Please call and register to- day. Deadline to register will be November 2nd. Dance fitness: We are taking registra- tion for an Afternoon Dance fitness class.
