CU 4H resumes There are two 4-H groups in Terrace Bay this year, each with a reporter. Both will be keeping us.up to date on 4-H activities this winter. * * * The "Jog Hogs" held their first meeting Mon- day, September 17th at 6:30. Election of Offi- cers was held: Presi- dent, Christine; Vice President, Kim; Sec- retary, Carol; Treasu- rer, Jody; and press re- porter, Donna. The theme of this session is "Fitness Fare." We will be learning about food, fitness and ourselves. At our first meeting, we baked Bacon and Egg Loaf and Spanish Ome- lette. We each had our piece and not all of us liked it. Our next meet- ing will be held in the home ec. room on Mon- day the 24th from 6:30 p.m.. to 9:00 p.m. * * * On Wednesday the 19th the 4-H Club was as busy as ever. The new theme was "'fitness." We were quite busy making healthy foods on Wednesday. We haven't started any real work outs but it's sure to come. This week was not the best because we were just really getting started. We made a bacon and egg loaf. I thought it was quite gooey but some liked it. Also, some of us made a Spanish omelette that turned out delicious. Some tried to find their pulse and timed it to see how many beats it had in ten seconds. We all had a bit of homework, but it will all pay off. The new leader is Mrs. Dawn Sitko. The new presi- dent of the club is Julie Caranchie. The new vice President is Joanne La- londe. Also our new Treasurer is Sandy Mc- Bride. Press and Sec- retary is me, Erin Mar- cella. It was a fun night and I'll keep you tuned in every week on 4-H.
