Public Skating Times The arena ice will be installed within the next two weeks and the fol- lowing open public skat- ing times will be held this season: Monday 1-2 p.m. Tuesday 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Wednesday 2-3 . p.m. and 7-8 p.m. Thursday 10:30 - 11:30 p.m. Friday 1-2 p.m. and 7-8. p.m. Saturday. 1-2.p.m. Open Bowling The bowling season is rapidly approaching. Now is the time to im- prove your game. Open bowling is held on Sun- day 2-5 p.m. and Wed- nesday 7-10 p.m. There will be league bowl- ing in the near future. Squash and Racquetball Courts If you are interest- ed in the game but lack the knowledge, the revc- reation department have experienced _instruct- ors who offer clinics throughout the season. Adult as well as youth clinics are held. Call 3542 to register. The courts are very active so remember members call earlier to reserve your times. Fitness Room The room is open to Recreation members from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p-m. Monday to Fri- day and Saturday and Sunday 1-9 p.m. The room is equipped with universal, loose weights and other fitness equip- ment for your enjoy- ment. Recreation Membership A reminder to all par- ticipants of activities at the recreation centre in- cluding the curling club and arena that valid rec- reation membership is required prior to your involvement in a parti- cular program. Full membership or single activity membership is available from the rec- reation office. Ball Leagues The ball season is over and we extend our congratulations to mens and ladies fastball, mens and mixed slow pitch. Learn to Skate Good news for little ones 3-4 years of age. There will be another learn to skate session starting in October. Tuesday and Friday 10- 11 a.m. Contact the Rec- reation Office. In- structor is Elizabeth Singleton.
