Travelling with a handicapped per- son away from these comforts and conven- iences can be an ex- treme trial. Imagine the surprise and pleasure my wife experienced when, on a recent visit with our son, she found handicapped parking near the stores, and curb cuts for wheel- chairs on many of the streets in Terrace Bay. Please accept our sin- cere thanks for your Tips for the thoughtfulness and foresight in providing . these facilities and kind- ly convey our gratitude to your citizens for their consideration in leaving these parking spots for those confined to wheel- chairs. Sincerely, Kennith G. Hackett Unemployed Shadent by VERONICA LEYBOURNE Student Placement Officer Congratulations, the job is yours! Now you must work hard to keep that job and make it work for you. Many people believe that once you've got a job you have nothing to worry about, but this is not so. Students, especially, must prove their worth. This can be accomplished by show- ing responsibility - know exactly what the employer wants from you and do it. Don't hesitate to ask questions - it's better to be safe than sorry! However, responsibi- lity doesn't stop there. You 'should be present and be punctual. Don't take your job for granted. When other people are depending upon you, it's rude as well as inefficient to disappear or be late. If you are hoping to get this job again next summer, you will have to convince your employer that he wants you again next year. So do your very best when it comes to your appear- ance, your attitude, and your ability. Any effort toward self improve- ment will be well noted by your employer. old signs new entrance xe BIG DEALS $1.00 $2.00 - Lander Baby Shampoo sale 2.00 16 Piece Dinnerware Set sale 3.00 Ecko Sponge Mop sale 4.00 Men's Briefs "sale 2.00 Wrap and Bag organizers sale 5.00 Toddler Cake Pans Lander Socks 3 /pkg.
