Homeruns were the order of the day with Mr. Transmission hitting 5 in a row at one point. Mr. Transmission will be representing the region in Niagara Falls at the provincials for the third year. The Terrace Bay Royals made it to the consolation final but were defeated by Sooter Photo of Thunder Bay. Teams came from Marathon, Manitouwadge, Thun- der Bay, Alberta, as well as Terrace Bay. . This year's winning team is unique in that 'one member was from Marathon and one from Terrace Bay. The win- ners are Karen Wag- horn (Marathon) and Paul Dashkewytch (Ter- race Bay) with a Low Net 66%. They were followed by Charlotte Miller and Norm McCuaig at 67, Ray and Carol Hansen 674 and Ted and Sheryl Lake (Marathon) 69%. 1st Low Gross went to Bill and Cathy Stachiw with an 85, followed by Bernie and V. Arm- strong (Manitouwadge) at 96 and Tom and Rena Lees also 96. Best ist 9 - Bill Hous- ton and Kay Stefurak and Best 2nd 9 - Terry and Joyce Bertholot. Most Improved - Con- nie and Kayd Lake (Thunder Bay). All Participants en- joyed the fun day and wrapped up by a great buffet put on by the ladies' club. The executive, on be-' half of all the members wish to thank Kimberly Clark and the Township of Terrace Bay for their assistance with the im- provements of the course. Namely the #1 green.
