The meeting opened with a prayer led by President, Mrs. Billie Ann Saari- nen. The Secre- tary, Bernadette Car- diff, read the minutes of the previous meeting. The President read the correspondence in ab- sence of the correspond- ing secretary. Treasur- er, Mrs. Roxanne Mc- Lellan gave her report. ~ Mrs. Rita McGrath, Spiritual Convenor, gave the Bible reading on The Magnificent. The President read a couple of replies re- ceived from companies we wrote to protesting their advertising in the Pro-abortion magazine "Homemakers."' He stressed we listen prayerfully to the Pope's messages. Sister Gexton will be contacted concerning the bibles to be pre- sented to the Grade 8 graduates. The meet- ing then adjourned and lunch.was served. The names drawn for the Pot of Gold were Mrs. Elizabeth Perrault, Mrs. Therese Martin and Mrs. Cathy Riley.
