The times various leagues operates is as follows: T Ball - Monday 6-7:15 p.m., Wednesday 5-6 p-m. (4 teams), Intern- ational League - Thurs- day 6-7:30 p.m. (2 teams American League - Wednesday 6-7:30 p.m. (2 teams) Girls League (8-14 years) - Thursday 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday 6-7:30 p.m. (4 teams) The schedules run from May 20th to June 30th/84. Umpires are always needed so drop by the field and offer your assistance. We would like to say a special thank you to all the parents and interest- ed persons who have volunteered their time so far, to coach and umpire. This is very much appreciated by the participants. Minor Soccer We are still taking names for Minor Soc- cer. Boys and girls be- tween the ages of 8 and 17 are asked to contact the recreation office if interested. Tennis Instruction (adults and youths) and Golf Lessons (Youths) We have quite a good response to the Tennis and Golf lessons and will still accept more names. Times and dates have not yet been estab- lished for these pro- grams and those who have their names in pre- sently, will be called once further information is available. Roller Skating The skates will arrive the first week in June and then the program will begin. Times will be as follows: ~ Monday - 4-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday - 7-9 p.m. Wednesday - 4-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday 7-9 p.m. Friday 7-9 p.m. Saturday 2-3:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday 2-3:30 p.m. Roller skating will only take place for the month of June, so plan to attend while you can. We will also be taking bookings for parties, for young or old. Call 3542 to reserve your time. Attention Tennis Players The courts are now available for use and the key system is in place. The key is available at the recreation office during all open hours. There is no charge for recreation members but there is a $2.00 charge per set (1% hr) for non- members. Single- Activity Membership for tennis is available at a cost of $10/person. Spe- cial times at the courts will be alloted to tennis club members. Ladies Scrub Lob-ball All ladies interested in playing scrub lob- ball are asked to call Linda Kostiuk at 9488, after 6:00 p.m. Players must be at least 20 years of age and teams will be selected' randomly each week from those who show up. Thunder Bay Summer Music Camp The dates for this year's summer music camp to be held in Thunder Bay, are Aug- ust 13 to 25th, 1984.
