'Feel the Beat", a performance directed by Coach Paul Wirtz, com- bined the talents of the Terrace Bay and Mara- thon figure skaters, with two shows held in the Terrace Bay Arena and two shows in the Mara- thon Arena the weekend of April 7, 8 and 9th. The concert featured 18 separate numbers in- cluding. crowd pleasers like "Strawberry Shortcake", the young- est of the skaters; the graceful and artistic dance pair of Tracy Clark and Mark Saran- paa; the exciting pairs performance of "Show Stoppers" with Sarah ' "Strawberry Shortcakes" at the 1984 T.B.F.S. Club Carnival. Fry and Kris Wirtz; and the unexpected and hil- arious line number "New York! New York!" Guest skating pro- fessional Valerie Hutcheon and local pro- fessional Paul Wirtz de- lighted the audiences with a pairs perform- ance.
