You will be sculp- turing figures and dress- ing them, then applying the finishing touches. This course will be held Friday March 30. (7- 10 p.m.) and Saturday, March 31 (time to be announced). Call 3542 to indicate your interest. Natural Food Cooking Scumptious dishes de- signed for family eat- ing with lots of taste and appeal. Friday evening get started with yogurt, breads, beans, discus- sions and food tasting. Saturday will feature baking, preparing and planning, and singing at a family party et 5:30 p.m. Babysitting will be provided for Saturday if necessary. This course will be offered by Jennifer Garret of Thunder Bay and takes place on Friday March 30th (7-10 p.m.) and" Saturday March 31 (9- 12 p.m. and 1-5:30 p.m.). The family meal follows, until 7:30 p.m. This will take place in the Home Economics Room at the High School. Please call the Recreation office if you wish to register for this fun and interesting pro- gram. Tole Painting Is there anyone in Terrace Bay who knows how to dole Tole Paint- ing, and would be able to instruct a workshop to pass the skill to others? Tole Painting is a Dutch Art involving layering tin or wood. If you are interested in teaching or participating in this course please call us at 3542. Youth Weight Training (ages 10-15) We are still taking names for this course which will be offered by Joe Kostecki near the end of March or the first of April. Exact dates are now known yet but it will be a 10 hour course. Please call the Recrea- tion Office at 3542 if you are interested. Beginner's Woodwork- We are hoping to offer this program March 22 to 25, if registration is sufficient. All project ideas must have appro- val from the instructor before the course starts. We have a se- lection of Canadian Workshop books at the office that you can browse through for ideas. You can also sub- mit your own plan if you have one. Please call 3542 if you would like to participate in this course. Fitness Programs: Mixed Aerobics (even- ) Starts Mon. April 9th, for 6 weeks. Mondays and Wednesday, 7-8 p.m. at St. Martin School gym. Ladies Fitness for age 35 and over (afternoons) Tuesdays and Thurs- days, 2:30 to 3:00 p.m., at the recreation centre. Starts Tuesday, April 3rd, for 6 weeks. Shape, Exercise Pro- gram (mornings) Monday, Wednes- day and Friday from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. at the recreation centre. Starts Monday, April 2nd and runs for 6 weeks. Presently we are - taking names for the "waiting list" only, for this course. Women's Self Defence: There is the pessi- bility of offering a self defence program for women if the interest here is sufficient. We would bring an instruct- or in from Winnipeg to instruct this program, which would be 16 hours long. If you are inter- ested, please give us a call at 3542. Arena News The season will come to an end on April 13th. Five weeks remain and we encourage you to attend our public skat- ing sessions. Figure Skating Ice Show The dates for this year's Figure Skating Ice Show: Friday, April 6th, with an evening performance, and Satur- day, April 7th a matinee performance. Mrs. McAdam also at- tended as a delegate to the Cambrian Presby- tery held in Thunder Bay, February 24th, 25th and 26th. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Harness have returned from Hawaii with a nice tan. Get well to Mrs. Cash, in hospital. Our deepest sym- pathy to the Madges on the passing of Jim Madge in Thunder Bay. He was a resident of Schreiber for many years.
