by: Pauline Ziegler Lake Superior High School was the main target for vandalism this Hallo- ween in Terrace Bay. A garbage shed, located about 25 feet from the rear of the school, was- destroyed by fire between 12 midnight and 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Phil Folz was on shift at the time and is continuing the investigation. In addition to the fire, a few more-traditional pranks occured - soaped windows, graffiti, a broken window and some thrown eggs. Twik or Tweet! Where's Kermit? Ol "Jungle-Bunny!??. , On November 12th and 13th, St. Martin of Tours Church will be celebrating 36 years as a Parish. St. Martin of Tours, the Patron Saint of Sol- diers lived from '316- 397 and his Feast Day was held on November 11th. Martin was drawn to Christianity through his concern for the poor. He entered the church, and later became Bishop of 'ours and through this, many were conver- ted through his minis- try. Activities planned for the Saturday and Sun- day (Nov. 12th and 13th) are as follows: Sat. Nov. 12th: 2-4 p.m. - Altar Servers and Junior Choir bowling get to- gether in the Parish Hall from 4-5 p.m. Mass at 7:00 p.m. 8:15 p.m. - Games Night for adults (cards, etc.) Sun. Nov. 13th: 8:30 - 10:30 am. - Masses. 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. a "'brunch"' will be fea- tured in the Parish Hall and is being catered by the Terrace Bay Figure Skating Club. Tickets are available at the Rec- tory until Nov. 10th. 1:30 p.m. there will be Mass in French. Please note that no Mass will be at 1:00 p.m. at Birch- wood Terrace. 3:00 p.m. - Prayers and Benediction in the Church. 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. there will be a Children's Pro- gramme taking place in the school gym with races, contests, movies and refreshments. 7:30 - 10:30 p.m. will be Youth Night for Grade 8 children and up. They will be allowed to bring one guest who also must be in Gr. 8 or up. Help us celebrate to- gether at St. Martin of Tours Church.
