Christmas Crafts (Donna Mikeluk) This program is for the boys and girls ages 8 to 12 and will explore several areas such as: printmaking, collage, modelling, weaving, na- ture crafts and stitchery. Films and games will also be enjoyed. Any suitable scrap materials such as cloth, stuffing, buttons, etc. are wel- come. This program will run from Oct. 20th to Dec. 8th (8 weeks) and will be held in the Multi- Purpose Room at the Recreation Centre from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The fee will be $12.00 and the deadline to register is October 14, 1983. Beginners Chinese Cooking (Iris Lind- berg) Learn how to prepare such tasty Chinese food dishes as: egg rolls, deep fried Won Tons, sweet and sour chick- en, chicken Guy Ding, chicked fried rice, beef chop suey, beef and green peppers and others. BEL This course will be for 6 weeks, commenc- ing on Thursday Octo- ber 27th. Times will de- pend upon the partici- pant, either 7-9 p.m. or 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Please indicate the time you would prefer. The fee is $18.00 and is payable by Friday October 21st. Morning Glories We are taking names to see if there is suffi- cient interest to offer this skating/exercises class, on a weekly ba- sis, in the morning. You start with various condi- tioning and . warm-up exercises and advance to learn ice dancing steps such as the waltz and tango.
