First session will. be Monday May 30th from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. The weekly schedule is as follows: Monday 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday 4-5 p.m. Wednesday 7-8:30 p.m. Friday 7-8:30 p.m. Saturday. 2-3:30 p.m. 8-9:30 p.m. Adults only We will run the pro- gram during the follow- NOTICE order to benefit in their own vocation. All Citizens of Terrace Bay are invited to meet with the Members of the Governor General's Canadian Study Conference group from 9:00 p.m. on June 4th, 1983 in Birchwood Terrace. Terrace Bay has been chosen as one of the towns this group is visiting across Canada. Their purpose is to talk to as many people as possible to find out situations in a one industry town in Dep. Minor Ball Schedule The open meeting was poorly attended by the adults of the community however we were able to select convenors to han- dle the operation of each league. Over 140 parti- cipants are registered to date. The following is a list of league and con- yenor and the starting - date of the program: T Ball - 5-7 yrs. old. - Terry Bryson convenor starts May 30th International League 8-10 yrs. old - Mary Cashmore convenor starts May 26th American League 11-13 yrs. old - Jim Mikus convenor starts May 23rd National League - 14-16 yrs. old - convenor Jim Figliomeni - starts May 26th Girls League - 8-14 years old - convenor Doug Roberts starts May 23rd If you have registered coaches will be contact- ing you in the very near future. Every Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. is set aside for your enjoyment. Teams and a regular schedule will be set up. Contact. the of- fice if you are interest- ed or attend next Tues- day's session. Men's Ball Hockey Every Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Four teams battle it out at this time. If you are interested please contact Gord Lang or Dan Hnatuk. Mixed Slow Pitch The opening night was held on Tuesday May 17th and provided 2 hours of fun softball for all present. We are still accepting names for the Mixed Adult Teams. Outdoor Volleyball Are you interested in participating in Outdoor Volleyball. There are two divisions, the adults 18 years and over and the student division 14 to 17 years old. The program will employ 4 students. The program consists of run- ning a full recreation program for all ages in the arena as well as work with the summer playground program personnel.
