Handy Tips Wash corduroy gar- ments inside out to avoid lint deposits. Brush them while they are still damp, to remove any lint that may have sneaked through. If you don't have a washing machine, or when you just want to wash a few clothes, put | them in your tub or sink and use your rubber plunger in an up-and- down motion - the same way you'd use it to unstop a clogged drain. This method is safe for delicate fabrics. But be prepared for splashing! The 19th Hole by M. MOORE The past week saw the Men's Club Executive meet at the home of Terry and Sue Hay. While on the subject of Twilights, the Ladies Twilights will be run on Tuesdays and_ golfers (men and ladies and juniors) are asked to note that the Twilight players have preference on the course. "'Just as an example of the importance we as a Town place on this annual campaign, we will be hosting the Dis- trict Horticultural So- ciety's Annual Conven- tion next weekend. The fountain is being pre- pared for illumination this summer and we will be doing extensive work this summer to maintain the green areas around the community. Kimber- ly-Clark has always been very cooperative and we as a Council appreciated very much their joining with us in this effort by sponsoring the ad in last week's paper promoting the Clean-Up". Public Works Fore- man Roy Cornfield said that any trash or debris can be left at the curb- side and the public works crew would re- move it. He went on to say that owners of dere- lict vehicles can contact the Township and that the vehicles would be removed at a later date. M-M good PICKEREL . FILLETS * 3.99 Ib. 8.80.
