"Canada Hospital Day at McCausland This year, the Mc- Causland Hospital is observing Canada Hospital Day on Sunday, May 14th, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. Highlights of the Day will be demon- strations in physio- therapy and ultra-sound equipment which has just recently been acquired at the hospital. Tours of the hospital will again be available and will be conducted by members of the Board of Governors. Members of the hospital staff will be on hand to answer any questions which come to mind. This is an opportunity for newcomers to the area and those interest- ed in seeing first-hand the progress made, to visit the hospital and learn what services it is prepared to provide. Ultra-Sound is also used to detect cysts or tumors, the _ gall bladder, pancreas, liver. kidneys, spleen and Sylvia Ms. McCullough has had an intensive practical course on this equip- ment at London Victoria Hospital and is fully capable of operating the machine. She _ reports that she has been kept very busy preparing ultra-sound scans. -- . And yet another ser- vice is being provided to patients. Upon entering the patient will be given a card on which the hospital, each patient may indicate his/her wishes with regard to visitations from the clergy. This is not a' compulsory re- quirement but merely an attempt to learn whether or not the patient would like to have his/her priest or minister pay a visit.
