Kin Kariboo Karnival Come one come all, it's time to shake off those mid-winter blues. Two and a half weeks from today we begin our annual Terrace Bay Winter Carnival. There will be events to please everyone: races on skates for the young ones, barrel jumping, a figure skating show and old-timers hockey will combine to kick off opening night ceremo- nies on Friday night at the arena. The Pan- cake breakfast, the win- ter carnival parade, sno- golf, a fish derby, Birch- - wood's Kin Kariboo Saloon, and a dance at The Moose Hall will make Saturday a busy day for all. Sunday will see the conclusion of the fishing derby as well as some other events not yet off the drawing board. We are looking to all town groups and individuals to help us with floats for the Pa- rade and snow-sculp- tures to grace the winter streets of Terrace Bay. Next Saturday after- noon there will be an information booth at Costa's. A number of carnival events require a Carnival Button to at- tend.
