WEEKLY REPORT JUNIOR GIRLS GYMNASTICS: This class will begin on Thursday, February 15, with the junior girls going at 6230 to 7:30 p.m. and the senior girls from 7:30 to 8230 p.m. in the Public School gym. All persons will be notified by the Recreation Department as to which clas they will be in. DISCO DANCE: Disco dance for the two towns of Schreiber and Terrace Bay will operate in Terrace Bay. As soon as Confederation College engages an instructor, we will finalize the programme. FITNESS TESTING: Fitness testing will také place in the Terrace Bay Recrea- tien Centre from Monday, February 26, through Thursday, March 1 depending on the number of interested persons. Those wishing re-evaluation may also register. For details, please contact the Recreation Office at 3542. FI T-FUN WEEKEND: We are still anticipating operating the Fit-Fun weekend from February 22 through February 24. This weekend will be in conjunction with the opening of the Fitness Room in the Rec- reation Centre, and this hinges on whether the remaining equip- ment for the Fitness Room arrives on time. There will be def- inite times and dates in next week's News. ORGAN CONCERT: Worl d-renowned organist, Stanley King, will perform at St. Martin's Separate School gym on Thursday, February 15 at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome and this is a free concert sponsored by Harmony House of Thunder Bay and the Terrace Bay Recreation Department. BASKETBALL SCHOOL: The Terrace Bay Recreation Department will operate a Basket- ball School on February 23, 24 and 25. This school will feat- ure the talents of Jack Donahue, the Canada Olympic coach, and also Doug Jones, the Olympic team trainer. Persons who are interested should contact the Recreation Office (3542) as soon as possible as there is a specific number of participants need -ed before this school will operate. BOXING: Anyone who has not been notified as to their individual practise times, should contact the Recreation Office as soon as possible. KARATE: Those interested in taking Karate lessons should contact the Recreation Office (3542) and leave their names. We have a certified black belt instructor in the community who is will ing to run a Karate class. This is open to everyone from the age of 12 and over. MEN'S BASKETBALL: Just a reminder that men's basketball takes place every Wednesday evening in the High School gym in Terrace Bay from 8 to 10230 p.m. There is no charge for this programme, so cone out and join in the fun.
