SCHREIBER-TERRACE BAY CHRISTIAN WOMEN The Christian Women's Club of Schreiber-Terrace Bay held their dessert meeting in the Schreiber Public School on Decem- ber 12th at 7:15 p.m. The special feature "Festive Fancies" was presented by the women of the club. Each person received a booklet of recipes and were invited to sample the delicious dainties. 3 Helen Dooley told us about Friendship Bible Coffees. These are small groups meeting in homes, to study the Bible. The courses vary in length from five to fourteen weeks. Don and Marilyn Shaver, vocalists from Thunder Bay, sang "Top of the World". Later in the evening they sang "Song of Love" one of their own compositions. Beth Macadam was presented with a book of recipes for being © the person who brought the greatest number of new people to am the meeting. Our guest speaker for the evening was Ruth Lindholm from Clarkfeild, Minn. Mrs. Lindholm, the wife of a Bank Owner and President, told how God has helped guide and change her 1ife. : A prayer coffee will be held at the home of Lottie Kelsall on January 9th. The next Christian Women's Club Dessert meeting will be held January 16th. The special feature for the evening will Be "Shape Up in '79" with Sue Hurley, Physical Education Instructor. The guest speaker will be Sonja Hammond from Duluth, Minn. Joyce London will be singing for us. )( BIRTHS | Born to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Morland of Schreiber, a boy on December 22nd, 1978.
