PAGE 6 TERRACE BAY NEWS MAY 10, 1978 TERRACE BAY GIRL TO GRADUATE FROM MOOSEHEART JUNE 4 Lucille St. Denis, sponsored at Moose- heart by Terrace Bay, Ontario Lodge No. 1752, is one of 25 seniors to be graduating from Mooseheart High School in commencement exer- cises to be held in the Field House on the Mooseheart campus on Sunday, June 4th, In addition to re- ceiving a high school diploma, she will be presented a vocational training certificate in Drafting. The St. Denis family was admitted to Mooseheart on January 19, 1966. Edward, Andre and Patricia remain as students at the Moose City of Children near Aurora, 11. While at Mooseheart, she played in the concert band and was an officer in the band. She was a member of the Girls Athletic Association. She was a reporter on "The Crystal", the high school news- paper, and on the staff for the "Heart of the Moose", the high school yearbook. St. Denis attained the rank of lieutenant, junior grade in the Mooseheart Unit of the Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps. She was girl's representative of her class in her freshman and junior years. She served as attendant at the annual Homecoming celebra- 'tion held at Mooseheart last fall. She was queen of the Mili- tary Ball and was elected to the National Honor Society in 1971. She plans to spend the summer with her father and to attend a college in Thunder Bay, NATIONAL WEEK ON_MENTAL RETARDATION "Too many people do not know what mental retardation is or that in many cases it could be prevented or the effects re- duced through proper medical care, early infant intervention and other preventive measures," emphasizes Anne Murray in a nation-wide public service campaign.
