KIMBERLY-CLARK OF CANADA LIMITED TO HONOUR TRADES GRADUATES On Thursday, May 11th, Kimberly-Clark will hold a Gradua- tion Dinner at the Terrace Bay Legion to honour thirteen graduates of the Trades Training Program. Nine employees will have completed the three year Trades Training Program while four have completed the one year Helper Training Program. The graduates are: Pipefitters: Ted Stachiw, Leo Legault, Gordy Opas, Roy Rouhiainen; Electrician: Al Regis; iristrument Mechanic: R. Mercure; Millwrights: Bob Roberts, Werner Hermes, Bob Mineau, Jim Corrigan, Paul Pluta; Sheet Metal Mechanic: Joe Papineau; Machinist: Bevin Black. Kimberly-Clark has been conducting a formal Trades Train- ing Program since 1950. [Including this year's graduates, there has been one hundred and fourteen employees trained as tradesmen. Guest speaker at the Graduation Dinner will be Mr. Ken Hutchinson, Training Co-ordinator, Spruce Falls, Kapuskasing. TUCSON ARIZONA BOYS CHOIR The Tucson Arizona Boys Choir impressed the Terrace Bay/ Schreiber audience with its beautiful sound, musicianship, stage presence, sense of humour, quick and quiet costume changes and an excellent selection of songs. |t was easy to understand why the boys have been called "ambassadors in Tevis". A11 were more than willing and able to talk informally about their travels and experiences to members of the audi= ence after the programme. Their enthusiasm and friendliness were contagious. GIVE...
