MWe-are still in need of coaches and umpires and anyone interested may drop in or call the Recreation bifres at 3042 MEN'S AND LADIES! FASTBALL: - We are still accepting names of seofls interested in playing Men's and Ladies! Fastball and meetings will be called next week for the formation of teams. Any individuals interested in putting together their own teams may do so and contact the Rec- reation Office with their team lists. Players should be 15 years of age and over. TENNIS CLINICy a We now have further information on this clinic and we are advised that it will start in early June. Participants will have one hour of instruction per week for seven weeks. The cost of this ongoing.clinic is $24.00 per participant and there will be six tennis players in each class with one-instructor, This is open to all age groups and we would like people to re- 'gister as soon as possible. BALL HOCKEY: Anyone interested in playing Ball Hockey should take note that the scheduled night for this activity in the arena has been changed to Tuesday nights beginning at 7:00 p.m. Any boys or men 14 years of age and over are eligible to play and should be Recreation members. : SUMMER PROGRAMME SUPERVISOR REQUIRED FOR TERRACE BAY, ONTARIO Persons filling this position would be responsible for a wide range of summer programmes, supervision of staff, etc. This person would report directly to the Recreation Co-ordinator. Employment period from June 12th to Sept- ember 8th (13 weeks) . Salary to be negotiable: - Preference will be given to person already enrol led in Recreation degree or diploma programme or graduate. TENNIS CLUB: - = 4 As a result of a meeting held last week, a Tennis Club has SS been formed in Terrace Bay and the executive members are as house; Treasurer - Janet Jaffary; Directors - Dr. K. Wilkes, and Scott Thompson. Persons interested in joining the Tennis Club should contact one or more of the aforementioned persons for more infomation. i) NORTH SHORE BADMINTON TOURNAMENT: ~This past Saturday, thirteen Junior Badminton players, coached by Lisa Kenney, travelled to Red Rock to participate in.the annual Badminton Tournament and did very well indeed. They came in second, having tied with Red Rock for first places Our players were Angie Morriseau, Donna Lapenskie, Mona Dakin, = Tracy Bozac, Mike Pedersen, Donna Shymkaryk, Eleanor DePaola, == Danny Vienneau, Guy Kodila, Tammy 0'Neil, Richard Gramatowski, Joe Kennedy and spare, Brad McMillan. A special word of thanks to those who provided transportation to our players. Congratu- 4 ~Tatjons are particularly earned by these players since they have anly played for four weeks prior to this tournament, under the very capable instruction of Mrs. Rosalind Kenney.
