Board Officials for 1978 were determined by regular inaug- ural procedures, as follows: Chairman of the Board - Trustee Yvon Beauparlant; Vice-Chairman of the Board - Trustee Frank Neagher; Chairman of Management Committee - Trustee Dave Ban- ning; Chairman of Personnel & Finance Committee - Trustee Janis Bunkis. On recommendation of the Striking Committee, Standing Com- mi ttees for 1978 were approved by the Board comprising the following Trustees: Management Committee - Dave Banning Chairman, Bert Haas, Ron Currier, Laurent Dumais; Personnel & Finance Committee - Janis Bunkis, Chairman, Rita McBride, Frank Meagher, Anita Pristanski; Negotiating Committee - Frank Meagher Chairman, Janis Bunkis, Rita McBride, Bert Haas. This meeting adjourned at 10:30 a.m. REGULAR MEETING: : The North of Superior District Roman Catholic Separate School Board held its regular meeting on Saturday, January 2st, 1978, at 10:30 a.m., in St. Martin School, Terrace Bay. Approval was given to the minutes of Regular Board Meeting No. 10/77 held December 10, 1977, and to the Statement of Accounts for the month of December, 1977. Material was distributed on the upcoming 1978 Thunder Bay Diocesan Separate School Trustees! Association Annual Confer- ence to be held March 3-5, 1978, in Thunder Bay. Principals within the System will be asked to attend and the Board ap- proved payment of expenses of those Principals who attend. Mr. Brain Peters, Psychometrist for the Board, gave a pre- sentation on the Early ldentification Program. In his presen- tation, he indicated to the Board what had evolved since the initiation of the program within the System. The Treasurer's report was received with the Board approv- ing various issues. Principals will be advised of authorization to spend up to a level of $25.00 per pupil until the 1978 school budgets are approved, The J=K and K Enrichment Program at St. Martin School, Terrace Bay, will not be offered because the required minimum enrolment of 15 was not reached. Mr. Jones, Business Administrator, will attend the 0.S¢T.C. Provincial Salary Conference in Toronto. Mr. McCluskey will attend Outdoor Education in Snow Country, Thunder Bay, ; . The next regular meeting of the Board will be held Saturday, February 18th, 1978, at 10:00 a.ms, in Holy Angels School, Schreiber. The meeting adjourned at 2:15 pm.
