At this point the Board of Directors wish to thank Jack Stokes for his direct involvement in the building program. Jack, as have many others, has contributed generously to the fund, but he has, in addition, given of himself and his time. Jack attended meetings with the hosp -ital's Development Committee when they met with "the Ministry" at Queen's Park and also spent much precious time on the telephone on . our behalf. As a result we now have a committ- ment from the Ministry of Health to finance over 80% of the cost of the new hospital. Our "Pat-on-the-Back" for the beginning of June goes to three groups this time - to Russ Macadam, Denny Neylon, and Alex Furyk (of Schreiber) who, once again, combed the back- fields and ditches while out walking and col- lected empty beer bottles which, when turned in, totaled $100.00 for the building fund.
