APRIL 20, 1977 TERRACE BAY NEWS RUBY REBEKAH LODGE MEETING Ruby Rebekah Lodge 279 held their regular meeting on April 13th. Mrs. Georgina Davis N.G. and Mrs. Mavis Slater P.P.'acting as V.G. presided. The sick and visiting report was given by Mrs. Slater. Mrs. Slater also gave the report of the C.P.T. Humanitarian Committee who met on April 10th. The next meeting will be on May 15th at the home of Gladys Hamilton. Mrs. Eirene Harness gave the Semi-Annual report of the Property Committee. The names of Mrs. Vic Winters and Alvin Slater were inadvertantly omitted as having won prizes for Whist at the recent card party. Following the next meeting a Penny Auction and Pot Luck lunch will be held. A bake sale is planned for May in Spadoni's Department Store. Every member is requested ~to donate an item of baking. > A donation was given to the Schreiber Branch of the Canadian Cancer Society. Many members thanked unknown friends for Easter remembrances. Permits are available at the Municipal Office. Arrangements for an inspection ~. of newly laid lines can be made by cal- ling 824-2018. By-Law 573, Section 8, reads as fol lows: "The owner of all houses, buildings or premises weed for human occupancy, employment, recreation, or other purposes, situated within the Township of Schreiber and abutting on any street, alley, or right of way in which there is now located a public sewer, IS HEREBY REQUIRED AT HIS EXPENSE TO CONNECT ALL PLUMBING, BUILDING SEWERS. AND DRAINS DIRECTLY TO THE PROPER PUBLIC SEWERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS BY-LAW, WITHIN TWELVE (12) MONTHS AFTER DATE OF NOTICE TO DO SO by The Township of Schreiber. Therefore, all property owners are requested to take note of the provisions of By-Law 573, and to govern Themselves accordingly.
