Receiving with her were her mother, Mrs. Claire Madge, her mother-in-law, Mrs. Jean Fisher and her bridesmaid Miss Louise Geonet.. Mrs. Ethel Nesbitt was the dining room : hostess and the servitors were Pam Nesbitt, Mary Ann Madge, Mary Jo Ryan, Melody Fisher, Gail Bottomley and Cindy Ray. Mesdames Helen LeBlanc, Pat Bourguignon, Inga Ellicott, and Ruth Bottomley replenished. Karen Madge, sister of the bride, attended the guest book and Mrs. Gabe Martin and Mary Madge, sisters of the bride, opened the gifts. Schelling; Mrs. Anne Todesco, and Gilbert , Martin. ™ With nine ratepayers present, the annual meeting of the Hall Committee took place The chief pur- pose of the meeting was to elect a committee for I977 to administrate the functioning of the building as representatives of the rate- payers. This hall was built by the members of the Women's Institute and when that or- ganization disbanded the building was turned over to the community and a board of trustees appointed to take care of the management of the property. The meeting was chaired by Mrs. Prina Gerow. Miss Lorraine Seppala read the min- utes and presented the financial statement, both were passed for adoption. The following were appointed to the I977 committee - Mrs. Prina Gerow as chairman, Mrs. Camilla Legault as co-chairman, Miss Lorraine Seppala as Sec. Treas., Mrs. Daph- ane Henderson and Mrs. Patsey Campbell as the other two members of the committee.
