They now have 2 boys and 1 girl, (Whaddaya doin? fellas - buildin' a ball team.) The Reg. Fawcetts now have 2 girls. The second daughter arrived on Tuesday, September 18th, (Oh yes, Reg. is building a ball team too - Bea plays for the ladies' team, ) Visitors of the week, renewing acquaintances with all of those people they knew when they were in Terrace Bay a couple of years back are Ruth Bangartt, Kay McKeen, Ina Parker and Jim Nicholson. ¢ Recreation: Report: Cont'd' from'pg. 3 ... YOGA PROGRAMME : : As advertised previously, two optional sessions are being held (this past Monday, September 20th, and tonight, September 22nd). The Recreation Office will accept registrations fox. this programme up to and including Monday, September 27th. Further information regard- ing details of this programme may be obtained by coming to the Recreation Office or calling 825-3542. This Yoga programme will definitely be held at St. Martin's School gym. ARENA OPENING DELAYED DUE TO.REPAIRS: Due to the present repairs being carried out in the Terrace Bay arena to meet the requirements of the Ministry of Labour, the start-up of the ice plant. and consequently the operding of the arena will be delayed somewhat., At the time of this write-up, it was hoped that the ice plant could be started early next week with the arena being open to the public around October 8th, 9th or 10th. The Recreation Department will keep the public informed as to plans in this regards NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO MUNICIPAL RECREATION ASSOCIATION FOURTH ANNUAL CONFERENCE : This 4th annual conference will be held at the Airlane Motor Hotel in Thunder Bay on October 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Highlights of the conference will include Mr. Bert Curtis, President of Confederation College of Applied Arts and Technology being the keynote speaker on Friday evening; Mr. Bob Secord, Director of the Sports and Fitness Division of the Minist- ry of Culture and Recreation as banquet speak- er on Saturday evening; the involvment of Mr. Johnson, Deputy Ministry of the Ministry of Culture and Recreation; a special panel discus -sion centering aréund "Education + Recreation = ?"
