PAGE 12 TERRACE BAY NEWS MAY '5, 1976 TERRACE BAY POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT During the week ending May 2, 1976 a total of thirty occurrences were investigated. April 26 - An accident occurred on Highway 17 at Radisson Avenue which resulted with one of the drivers being charged with failing to yeild the right of way. April 27 - A Break, Enter and Theft occurred at a local service station and is under 'in- vestigation. April 28 - A charge of suspended driving was laid against a local resident. April 30 - A local youth was arrested and charged with Break, Enter and Theft which oc- curred at Costa's Food Market in 1975. April 30 - Also on this date the Township Mun- icipal Office was unlawfully entered and the glass in the front door of the Dentists office was broken. Later on this date a Marathon youth was arrested and charged with the offen- ces. April 30 - A local resident was checked and it was ascertained that a Canada wide warrant was | in existance for his arrest in Vancouver for possessing narcotic drugs for the purpose of trafficking. April 30 - Three charges were laid under the Liquor License Act. May 1 - Damage was caused to the greens and property of the Aguasabon Golf Club. May 1 - Following an 'accident on Simcoe Plaza a local resident was charged under the Crim- inal Code with dangerous driving and failing to remain at the scene. ' May 2 - Police were called to a domestic dis- pute which-was settled without Police action being required. May 2 - Also on this date, an accident occurr- ed on the beach road when a Jeep overturned. During the week five persons were checked through C.P.I.C. Seven motor vehicles were safety checked and six charges were laid under the Highway Traffic Act.
