MARCH 24, I976 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 9 Youth Variety Night - continued ........ vu . The variety night was opened with a speech from the I976 Winter Carnival King & Queen, Chris Petrus & Tricia Paukstys. ; The hall was. packed to capacity and the crowd a very enthusiastic one indeed. M.C.'s for the evening were F. Boucher and P. Jones. Although most of the participants were nervous they soon relaxed and enjoyed them- selves. Some children, after seeing how easy it was to get up and perform, wanted to enter that night, but due to the many performers on our programme, we could not allow this. During intermission the ladies auxiliary opened the kitchen to the public and the men's branch donated pop to all the performers Because the Youth Variety Night was such a success we hope to make this an annual event and why not when the talent is there just waiting to be heard. Perhaps you will enter next time? Many thanks to the ladies auxiliary for their help, to the Men's Branch for donating the use of the hall and the beverage for the performers and a special thank you to the Terrace Bay Gospel Assembly for printing and donating the programmes. - F.
