PAGE 6 TERRACE BAY NEWS MARCH 10, 1976 LETTER TO MOTHER Continued I loved you enough to let you see anger, disappointment, disgust and tears in my eyes. I loved you enough not to make excuses for your lack of res- pect or your bad manners. I loved you enough to let you stumble, fall, hurt and fail. I loved you enough to let you assume the responsibility for your own actions at six, ten and sixteen. I loved you enough to shove you off my lap, let go of your hand, be mute to your pleas and insensitive to your demands. ---So you had to stand alone. 1 loved you enough to accept you for what you, are, not what I wanted you to be. Don't you think this is exactly what it's like? It sure makes you think what it's like to be a mother and what she has to put up with: Now that I don't live at home I can understand a little bit of your position. ; This is just a little something to let you know I think of you, and the rest of my family. Take care. Love, Rose HOSPITAL HIGHLIGHTS The February meeting of the McCausland Hospital Board of Governors was held at St. Martin Separate School on Tuesday, the 17th, 1976.
