JULY 9, I975 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 9 TERRACE BAY RECREATION DEPARTMENT WEEKLY REPORT MOBILE SAILING SCHOOL = REGISTER NOW: A reminder that a Mobile Sailing School will be held in Terrace Bay for one week only - July 2Ist to 25th. The course includes I5 hours of instruction during the week. Regis- trants have the choice ©f morning, afternoon or evening sessions and it is important to point out that if you wish to change sessions during the week (i.e., shift work, etc.) you are per- mitted to do so. You can register by dropping into the Recre- ation Office during office hours to fill out the form and make payment. 1975-76 MEMBERSHIP DISCS NOW AVAILABLE: The new I975-76 membership discs (yellow background with black numbering) are now avail- able at the Recreation Office. In order to allow sufficient time for members to pick up their new discs, we will allow the old pale blue discs to remain in effect up to and includ -ing July I4th. Therefore, effective Tuesday, July I5th, the old blue discs will no longer be effective. Approximately I600 discs will be issued to members of the Recreation Association. TERRACE BAY RECREATION DEPARTMENT - BROCHURES: New programme brochures are in the process of being distributed and hopefully will be distributed door to door sometime next week. . These brochures will outline all information of the services of the Terrace Bay Recreation Department and we encourage everyone to keep the brochure on hand for reference when they _are received. TENNIS COURTS: As of this write-up, both tennis courts are available for use to the public. A key must be obtained from the cashiers desk at the swimming pool for use of the courts. Also if anyone feels they have sufficient knowledge of tennis and would like to conduct a tennis clinic for beginners, please contact the Recreation Office at 3542. MINOR LEAGUE SOFTBALL: To date, the Minor Softball program has been a fair success with just a few games left (playoffs). We now can start concentrating on some out-of-town games for some of the leagues.
