Second nominations of Officers was held. Certain legislation from the Rebekah Assembly of Ontario was dealt with. A bake sale will be held on Saturday, June 7th at 2 p.m. at Yola Cebrario Hardware Store. Mrs. Ileene Williamson and Mrs. Chris Morris will convene this event. Degree practise followed the meeting. Next degree practise will be held on Tuesday, June IOth at 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Lorraine Croll of Windsor took her mother, Mrs. Cecile Bedard of Schreiber on an extended holiday which included sight seeing in Florida, a tour of Disney Land and a visit to Nassau. Later in the evening there was a dance to the music of the Sound Investment. All in all it was a very successful evening and everyone had a good time. Due to unexpected weather the pic-nic and hike that had been planned for Terrace Beach had to be cancelled, and everyone gathered at the home of Brown Owl Saranpaa, a campfire and the Marshmallow Roast followed by a Pow-Wow was enjoyed by all.
