Elizabeth, now skating out of Port Arthur Club while attending school there this term, received her training in Winnipeg with Desira Skene and the previous summer in Sehumacher with Hans Cershweiler. MINOR HOCKEY NEWS: In Pee Weg house league action Saturday, the league leading Leafs were again defeated in a close game with Canadians 4-3, The Canadians scored the winning goal || with only a few seconds left in the game. Ed Zwaresh led the Canadians with two goals, including the winner, with R. Zwaresh and Zielke scoring the other goals. For the Leafs = 1% was Papineau with two goals and R. Matuzak with a single. A total estimate of 4OO attended. Reeve W.E. Cavanaugh tossed the puck at the start of the first game which saw Blue Pee Wee battle to & 2-2 tie with the Red Pee Wees. #4 Prizes were distributed to the winners of a poster con- test held to publicize the event.
