"The hospital has received formal appro- val 'of the I974 Oper- - ating Budget in the amount of $293,585; the authorized daily standard ward rate is $64.60. No word has yet been received from Dr. Baldwin, Area Planning Co-Ordinator, regard- ing the Report of a New Health Facility. The President has written to him request -ing an early response from the Ministry of Health to this report. Copies of the report have been sent to both federal and provincial members of parliament. Under correspondence letters from Keith Pen- "ner MP and Jack Stokes MLA regarding the Health Facility Report were read. Accounts for April I974 in the amount of $28,140.94 were passed for payment. Under current bus- iness, the President welcomed the newly elected Board members and presented her views on general ob- jectives for the com- ing year. The Administrator gave a report on the District Hospital Coun- cil #12 meeting in Thunder Bay on May 9 & IOth.
