They also visited with George's brother, Bill on return at Belleville, Ont. and their daughter Sharon at Toronto. They also spent a few days at George's mother and dad's, Mr. and Mrs. George Riley Sr. at Mount Forest, Ontario on their return home. Pam will begin full< time on May Ist. Until then, she will be in the Town Hall, Wednesday from I P.M. until 4:30 P.M. and Friday from 9 a.m. until II:30 a.m. If you have any suggestions for programs or wish to talk about recreation, come_to the Town Hall or phone 824-27II at the times men- tioned above. If you are a stu- dent, and have an idea for a project, come in- to the office soon as these must be submitted by May Ist. The Recreation Committee sent Pam to the Spring Conference of the Northwestern Ontario Directors of Recreation in Thunder Bay last week. She was interested to meet the other Recreation Directors from the area as well as the Thunder Bay Sports and Recreation Branch people. A lot of helpful information was ex- changed about summer programmes, fund-raising, community involvement in recreation and many other things which will be important to Schreiber people. Summer programmes are in the planning stage at the moment. If you have any suggestions, please come and see Pam as soon as possible. The Northwestern Association of Community Crafts (NACC) is holding a workshop-conference in Thunder Bay May 3, 4, and 5th. Community Crafts and Art people from Northwestern Ontario will meet at Lakehead University for three days of workshops, informal discussion and pre- sentations by visiting craftsmen. If you are interested in attending, call the Municipal Office Wednesday afternoon or Friday morning. The next meeting of the Schreiber Recreation Committee will be held Monday, April 29th at 7:30 in the Council Chambers. The Committee has adopted a new policy concerning absentee members. Those who miss three consecutive meetings without a reasonable excuse will be asked to resign. Changing Times Everything's changing.
