An overflowing crowd of people at St. Paul -'s United Church in Thunder Bay was overwhel -med by the 250 children's voices of the com- bined choirs from Geraldton, Terrace Bay and Thunder Bay area. The festival was based on the story of Jesus from Advent to the Resurrection. One could not go wrong in directing great praise and honour to the Directors of the var- ious choirs, among whom was Mrs. Margaret McKague, assisted by Mrs. Joan Nugent. They accompanied the Joy and Hosanna Sing- ers of the Terrace Bay Community Church to Thunder Bay to particpate in this special event. It was quite evident that the groundwork was well prepared by the various Choir Direc- tors to enable Mr. Ronald A. Nelson to lead the young people in an outstanding performan- ce, which was greatly appreciated by the spel- lbound listeners. If the opportunity of any similar concert should become available in this area, a strong recommendation for everyone to attend a func- tion like this would certainly be in order.
