TERRACE BAY NEWS JANUARY 9, I974 ROSSPORT The first Cribbage Tournament of the wint- er was held in the School Recreation hall Sat- urday evening with Floyd Harnden and Romeo Bouchard in charge and Chas Henderson selling tickets. . Twenty couples took part in the tour- nament with Joyce Lanigan and Hilda -Mushquash winning the first event. Gus and Ida Krause took the second event while Doris and Lester Legault lead in the third event and Mr. and Mrs. Morgan won the fourth event. Luncheon was served by the hall committee. ) The members of the Union Church Auxiliary met at Mrs. Len Ibey's home Thursday evening for their annual Christmas party with nine mem- bers present with special guest Mrs. Margaret Martin of Gravel River. Games and contests were enjoyed throughout the evening with an ex- change of gifts from a brightly decorated tree and a delicious lunch enjoyed. Miss Shirley Bouchard of Thunder Bay visit- ed with her parents Mr. and Mrs. R. Bouchard and family. Miss Colleen Kenney of Kelowna, B.C. holiday -ed with her parents Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Kenney and other relatives in the area. Mrs. Anne Todesco is spending the festive season with relatives in Toronto and Sarnia. Mrs. Mary MacDonald of Thunder Bay was a holiday guest with Mrs. T. Seppala and daugh- ter Lorraine. Mr. and Mrs. Mac Hubelit with their son Lionel, daughters Maxine and Carol and famil- ies in Wawa, Ontario. Alex Zwaresh visited his son Stan and family in Terrace Bay. Peter Mushquash of Sioux Lookout with Mr. and Mrs. Dave Mushquash and family. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Martin have left for Winnipeg, to holiday with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Chas Wilde and family are hol idaying in Toronto and Montreal. Mr. and Mrs. Romanack and family have left for Toronto and Peterboro. Guests with Mr. and Mrs. Len Ibey are George Gaune and two sons, of Winnipeg, Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Gaune of Thunder Bay. Mrs. W. Greer has returned to Thunder Bay after visiting relatives at Pays Plat Mission. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hubelit will be home from Parisienne Island Lighthouse for Christ= mas and the winter season.
