PAGE I0 TERRACE BA) LEGION INSTALLATION A joint installation took place at the Roy- al Canadian Legion Hall, Terrace Bay, when officers of Branch 223 and the Ladies Auxiliary took office for the ensuing year. Prior to the dinner, a delicious Smorgas- bord was enjoyed. Before the installation took place, Pat Jones, Zone Commander of Zone 82, presented Life memberships to Retiring President David Gunter and Harry Gusul. ' Mr. Gunter called the meeting to order. and asked Sergeants-at-arms Clarence Mercier and George Dakin to present the colours. A moment of silence was observed for a time to remember the Fallen. The Seargents-at-arms presented the follow- ing members for installation - President - Forbes Cruickshank; Ist Vice-president - Will- iam Kujbida; Second Vice-President - Dan Rafa- lant; Secretary - Jim Beddard; Treasurer - Paul Coupal; Service Officer - Joe Kennedy; Sports =~ Jim Clancy. Mrs. Gusul also caid a few words, and Mrs. Gunter too pledged her. support to the incoming executive, and thapked all her committees over the past year.
