It was sur- prising to find the number of people who could - contribute and teach crafts during the adult sessions and the hobby days held each Friday afternoon. Aside from the usual painting and drawing we dabbled into basic pottery, papier mache and leatherwork. Full-scale projects included podgy, bottle cutting and staining, beading, weaving, batiking, tie-dye, wax emulsion, can- dle-making, junk craft, macrame, etc. . (By now, almost every mother in town should be the proud owner of at least one Mexican god's eye and/or pom-pom cushion cover ... eh, Mrs. L. McBride?!?). We really enjoyed the experience that this opportunity offered to share our knowledge of crafts to the community. The participants of this project not only developed or expanded their creativity but, most important, they learned to work and share with other people. Thank you once again for your support.
