PAGE I4 TERRACE BAY NEWS JULY 5, 1973 WOMEN OF THE MOOSE MEETING Enrollment took place at the regular meet- ing of the Women of the Moose welcoming Mrs. Patricia Stachiw into the defending circle. Mrs. Betty Sweet from Duncan, B.C. was wel- comed as a guest. Recorder Stella Sadowick read the minutes of the last meeting and gave the financial re- port. Susan Malcolm was presented with a farewell gift with best wishes from the Chapter in her new home in Marathon. Members were presented with beautiful rhine- stone pins for regular attendance. Officers for I973-74 are Senior Regent - Jacqueline Sopel, Junior Graduate Regent - Sadie Benko, Junior Regent - Carmel Zborowski, Chaplain = Doreen Kurylo, Recorder - Stella Sadowick, Treasurer - Minnie Woodruff, Sentin- el - Linda Vezina, Argus - Paige Legacy, Pianist - Clara Gould, Guide - Helen Almos, Assistant Guide - Majorie Goodmurphy. Lovely lunch was served by Carmel Zborowski Jacqueline Sopel, Stella Sadowick and Sadie Benko. Next meeting to be held on Wednesday July 4th. 4 PROVINCIAL PARKS ENTRANCE PERMIT REQUIREMENTS Recently, a number of changes have been implemented into our Provincial Parks. Canadian Senior Citizens wishing to enter our Parks for day use or overnight camping may do so without paying any fees. Senior Citizens driving vehicles and accompanied by youths un- der I8 years of age are also allowed free acc- ess to Park facilities. When persons I8 years of age or over are travelling with a senior citizen, the party must pay the appropriate fees, whether for day use or overnight camping. Canadian residents and visitors from other countries pay fees for utilizing our Parks. Day Use Permits are available at $I.50 per day for persons wishing to use our picnicking facil -ities. These permits are valid until II:00 p.m. on the date of issue. Annual vehicle per- mits, which cost $I5.00, allow the vehicle and it's occupants into the day use facilities for the entire season. This permit does not allow the persons to enter and occupy a campsite area at any time. People wishing to camp must obtain a Vehicle and Campsite Permit which is $3.50 per day for regular campsites and $4.00 for campsites with electrical outlets. This permit is valid until may be used in other Provincial Parks until the expiry time. 4 There are no seasonal Campsite Permits available in the Province of Ontario. L.J. Haas, District Manager.
