Simmer #333 > 25TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATED A party was held in the Moose Hall on Sat- rday evening, June 23rd, to honour Mr. and rs. Hugh Boudreau on the occasion of their 5th Wedding Anniversary. Planned by Lita Marie, Claudette and Mark oudreau, relatives and friends came from far nd near to join in this joyous affair. Yolande and Hugh renewed their vows at a luptual Mass, in St. Martin's of Tours, with ather Greengrass officiating. Mrs. W. Grant, lee Gertie Bougie who had been Yolande's Maid yf Honour, attended at the Mass. Unfortunately, aul Boudreau, who had been Hugh's Best Man, jas stricken will illness en route and was un- ble to attend. Art Foster stood in for Paul. ;uy Bougie and Stan Boudreau, two of the us- ers at the wedding, were also in attendance. Following the Mass, guests were invited to "he party at the Moose Hall, where dancing was snjoyed to the music of George Churney, Bill legraw and Len Pineault. Mark Boudreau, assisted by Lita and Claude- tte, presented their parents with a gift from 111 their friends and relatives,.a pair of lounge lawn chairs and two redwood tables for the patio. Several telegrams were read from those unable to attend. Lunch mainly prepared by the two girls was enjoyed by all. Attending from out of town were Lorraine Bougie, John Bougie, Guy and Mary Bougie, Kay O'Keefe, Stan, Trudy and Glenn Boudreau all of Montreal; Mrs. Ernie Hodgins, Michael Rowland, Toronto; Mrs. Margaret Gulligan, Belldune, New Brunswick; Mr. and Mrs. Art Foster and Veroni- ca, Union, New Jersey; Treasure Island, Florida; Mr. and Mrs. J. Leckie, North Bay;Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cavanaugh, Nancy and Paul, Laura Caccamo, Mrs. Marion Gertie and Willie Grant, Miss Rosemary McParland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold McParland of Schreiber, and Miss Brenda Krystia, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Krystia also of Schreiber, have graduated from the Lakehead Regional School of Nursing on June 22, 1973 at Confederation College.' Mrs. Joe Potvin and Miss Pat Potvin of Seven Islands were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. George (Bun) Scott this week, visiting also other relatives in town. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Cataford and family of Port Dover are visiting Allan's mother and Mr. and Mrs. Gino Caccamo. Allan, who's employed with Ontario Hydro, and his wife, have lived in many places and enjoyed most unexpected meetings with old friends, one complete sur- prise was to have Alex McCuaig, then school inspector and former Schreiber neighbor, drop in to have dinner with them in Otter Rapids.
