Lonnie placed 2nd in the 3000 meters behind Bill Britain with a time of 9 min. 29 sec.; 20 sec. faster than Lonnie's previous time and meets the qualifying standard for the Ontario games. Arlene placed first in the high jump with 4'7" and first in the long jump. Arlene will also represent Northwestern Ontario at the Ontario games. They represent the Schreiber Olympic Club at the Ontario games trials held at Hammarskjold School in Thunder Bay on June 16th.
