THE AUXILIARY TO THE MCCAUSLAND HOSPITAL The May meeting was changed from the third to the forth Monday of the month due to the Victoria Day Holiday. A good attendence was experienced . The minutes were read and taken by Marg Stevens. . A letter of resignation was read for Ruth Mitchell, effective the end of June. Alice Farrow will be the new treasurer and Gladys Hamilton will take her place as auditor. Marg Santerre reported that the Moose Bingo was a big success. Three hundred dollars was made on advance ticket sales, about $200. at the Bingo itself. A cheque for the proceeds was presented by the Moose. We owe thanks to the Moose for the use of the hall and their workers. A donation was received from Waghorn's. We are still collecting rags, to be sold to local merchants. These can be dropped off at the home of Lil Harris in Terrace Bay and Beth Macadam in Schreiber. If you want to do any knitting or have any knitted items, Judy Rogers will handle calls for the summer in Terrace Bay and A. Morris in Schreiber. Schreiber volunteers are required to operate the Tuck Shop during the summer. It would in- volve one hour every second week. Call Kay Stefurak if you can help. It was reported that the hospital has re- ceived the wall cabinets we bought for the em- ergency and operating rooms. Now we are buying a crib and double bowl.
